Ethereum Falls 10% In Rout

Investing.com - Ethereum was trading at $259.21 by 19:11 (00:11 GMT) on the Investing.com Index on Sunday, down 10.05% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage loss since September 24, 2019.

The move downwards pushed Ethereum’s market cap down to $28.99B, or 9.77% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Ethereum’s market cap was $135.58B.

Ethereum had traded in a range of $258.89 to $265.09 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Ethereum has seen a rise in value, as it gained 17.48%. The volume of Ethereum traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $23.45B or 13.93% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $217.0203 to $287.9298 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Ethereum is still down 81.79% from its all-time high of $1,423.20 set on January 13, 2018.

Elsewhere in cryptocurrency trading

Bitcoin was last at $9,866.7 on the Investing.com Index, down 4.73% on the day.

XRP was trading at $0.30075 on the Investing.com Index, a loss of 11.67%.

Bitcoin’s market cap was last at $180.25B or 60.75% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while XRP’s market cap totaled $13.36B or 4.50% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
