Ethereum Climbs Above 263.29 Level, Up 4% – Ethereum rose above the $263.29 threshold on Friday. Ethereum was trading at 263.29 by 02:29 (07:29 GMT) on the Index, up 3.51% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage gain since January 19.

The move upwards pushed Ethereum’s market cap up to $28.98B, or 9.50% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Ethereum’s market cap was $135.58B.

Ethereum had traded in a range of $262.82 to $269.90 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Ethereum has seen a rise in value, as it gained 20.85%. The volume of Ethereum traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $24.84B or 13.70% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $213.7545 to $277.3927 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Ethereum is still down 81.50% from its all-time high of $1,423.20 set on January 13, 2018.

Elsewhere in cryptocurrency trading

Bitcoin was last at $10,167.7 on the Index, down 2.70% on the day.

XRP was trading at $0.31779 on the Index, a loss of 2.88%.

Bitcoin’s market cap was last at $185.20B or 60.72% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while XRP’s market cap totaled $13.94B or 4.57% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
