Litecoin Climbs 10% In a Green Day – Litecoin was trading at $54.984 by 08:35 (13:35 GMT) on the Index on Tuesday, up 10.38% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage gain since January 14.

The move upwards pushed Litecoin’s market cap up to $3.499B, or 1.49% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Litecoin’s market cap was $14.099B.

Litecoin had traded in a range of $49.590 to $55.121 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Litecoin has seen a rise in value, as it gained 19.66%. The volume of Litecoin traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $4.211B or 3.99% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $43.8353 to $55.1205 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Litecoin is still down 86.91% from its all-time high of $420.00 set on December 12, 2017.

Elsewhere in cryptocurrency trading

Bitcoin was last at $8,550.2 on the Index, up 5.35% on the day.

Ethereum was trading at $152.24 on the Index, a gain of 6.03%.

Bitcoin’s market cap was last at $155.849B or 66.34% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while Ethereum’s market cap totaled $16.644B or 7.08% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
