The crypto market is back with the New Year’s spirit as the market is seeing growth again. The third largest coin Ethereum [ETH] has observed growth of 16.84% over 24 hours. While Litecoin [LTC], which was on the eight position has climbed one step up and settled at the seventh spot. The coin reported a growth of 13.27% over the past day.
According to CoinMarketCap, the coin was valued at $137.55 with a market cap of $14 billion. The coin reported a 24-hour trading volume of $3 billion with a minuscule slip of 0.01% over the past hour, at the time of press. The coin has observed steady growth over the week by 24.92%.
As per trading volume, OEX reported a trading volume of $170 million with ETH/BTC pair. The second highest exchange to register a trading volume of $145 million was OKEx with ETH/USDT pair. OKEx was followed by Huobi, which recorded a $135 million trading volume with ETH/USDT pair.
As per the one-day chart of Litecoin [LTC], the coin was valued at $32.46 with a market cap of $1.9 billion. The 24-hour trading volume of the coin was $479 million with a growth of 5.16% over the week. The coin is seen to slip by 0.30% over the hour, at the time of press.
The maximum trading volume of the coin was registered by OKEx. It reported a trading volume of $53 million with LTC/BTC pair. The second to trade the highest volume was Bit-Z with $47 million with LTC/BTC pair. Bit-Z was followed by OKEx with a trading volume of $37 million with LTC/USDT pair.
Ethereum will soon be able to process 1 million transactions per second. The token would be achieving the task with Raiden Network [RDN], a protocol that envisions scaling token transfers on top of the Ethereum network, reported Bitcoinexchangeguide. Raiden Network noted in a blog:
